Interview – Jeremiah Tall

Who are you and what are you doing here?
Well my name is Jeremiah Tall and I’m from Bucks County, PA. I’m a Folk/Rock one-man-band performer. I haven’t quite figured out what or why I’m here. I’m hoping looking back on life it will all make sense. Until then, I ride!

When did you know you wanted to pursue music as a career?
It would be hard to say exactly when. It probably made most sense to me in middle school. I found school to be a struggle. Music seemed to take that off my mind. Not to mention Rock & Roll stories are super fun sounding at a young age.

How would you describe your music?

Storyteller stomp. Load strumming and stomp/clap folk

If you had to choose one song you’ve written that best defines your sound which one would it be?
I’d say “Bleed” it captures my over all sound and lyrically it’s a story of my life.

In this day and age where anyone is pretty much able to pick up an instrument, what would you say sets you apart from the rest?
Mostly how I play. My live show. I don’t think of myself as a great musician but more of a performer traveling and telling story’s. I wear my heart on my sleeve when I play.

Where are people able to hear your songs?
Almost any of the major sites to download or stream music. iTunes and Spotify. Places like that.

Are you playing any shows anytime soon?
The month of November I’m playing a lot. I’m currently on a small tour of the Midwest and I’ll be make runs the rest of the year on the east cost. Check out my web site or any of my social media pages for dates!

What is your proudest moment/greatest achievement as a musician?

Having vinyl made. It’s a small thing but felt much more of a achievement than just CDs.

Anything else you’d like to add?

Live free or as close to it as you can!
