Who are you and what are you doing here? (what is your name, what is the band and what is your role in the band?)
Howdy! My name is Lucy Scholl, I’m a Texas born country lovin’ singer.

How did you start?
I honestly cannot remember a time I didn’t love to sing. If there was a stage, or something that resembled a stage, I was performing for anyone who would listen. I was most often found reenacting The Sound of Music on the staircase, or performing on the fireplace.
How would you describe yourself as an artist?
I’m an artist that loves learning. I am constantly trying to become a better musician and I dont think that process will ever stop for me. I’m very honest. I don’t hide my feelings and emotions, I love expressing them and being specific enough in my writing that suddenly my lyrics become relateable. I love life and writing about the amazing spectrum of human emotions.

If you had to choose one song you’ve written to best describe your music which one would it be?
I think I would choose “Blue Eyes”. This is a song I wrote at the very beginning of my writing career and I think it correctly displays the honesty and sincerity I want all my music to have. I feel like this song was a big moment for my career both when writing it and recording it. It is a song that has pushed me in every aspect of my music.
Where are people able to hear your songs?
I have a few singles on itunes and the entire EP will be on iTunes on July 22. I’m also hoping to begin releasing more videos in the near future. Follow me on instagram! I love posting little clips of new songs and covers 🙂
Are you playing any shows anytime soon?
I’ve got a bunch of shows lined up throughout the rest of the year all over the country! I’d love to see y’all at a show!! Check out my facebook page or website for all the details!
What is your proudest moment/greatest achievement as a singer/songwriter?
Going to nashville and working with amazing musicans and an incredible producer is probably one of my proudest moments thus far. It was a crazy experience and I learned so much from it. It has pushed me to be a better artist and continues to inspire the artist i want to become.
If you could have a dream tour with 3 other bands/artists who would they be?
Oh heavens, this is a hard question! I love so many artists! My dream tour would be, Carrie Underwood, Kacey Musgraves and Dan+Shay!! I am such a huge fan of these people. That would be incredible.
Anything else you’d like to add?
I’m so honored to have such amazing people supporting me, thank you! I would love to connect with you in any way I can! Follow me on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and we can be friends! @lucyschollmusic I hope to see you at a show soon!!
